Abe finally performed the inevitable act that I think all boys must try at some point in their young lives. I gave him some chocolate chips after lunch for a little treat and he decided to shove one up his nose. “Mom, I put it up my nose!” Was his proud comment. At first I thought he was kidding because I could see no sign of the chip when I peeked in, but I thought I’d better ask him to blow his nose just in case. Sure enough, melted chocolate goop came running out. It took quite a few tissues full of chocolate smear before I concluded that we got it all. At least it melted easily and I didn’t have to take him to the Dr. to manually remove some hard piece of something. I’m counting my blessings.
